COMMERCIALLY IMPORTANT SEA CUCUMBERS OF THE WORLD (FAO, Second Edition)

This second edition of the identification guidebook for commercially exploited sea cucumbers of the world edited by FAO updates the first edition in different aspects:

1) adopting recent systematics; 2) including simplified, but illustrated and annotated, identification keys, covering live and processed specimens; 3) expanding list of species that are commercially exploited worldwide considering regions not represented in the first edition.

This book provides information on 84 species of sea cucumbers that are commonly or opportunistically (as bycatch) exploited around the world. It is a very useful tool for the different “actors” linked with the sea cucumber fisheries and trade.
